Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Nelson)
Due to the continual growth of the company we are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
Hourly rate is negotiable.
Key skills and attributes:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a trade qualified diesel technician with skills in hydraulics, modern diesel engines and related electronics
- Hold a class 1 driver’s license
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and recommend solutions
- Have the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Have a willingness to learn and comply with our policies and procedures
This position may require work away from home at times.
