Recruitment Coordinator (6 month fixed contract)

Taylors Contracting is a leading family owned and operated Civil and Earthmoving contractor in New Zealand with our Head Quarters located in Brightwater Nelson and a branch in Christchurch. We have been in business since 1971, with a solid reputation for innovative solutions and teamwork. We specialise civil and infrastructure construction including medium to large scale land development, earthworks, site-works, dams, and roading.
We’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to support our Human Resources Manager to hire candidates for our upcoming projects in Wellington, Canterbury, Marlborough and Nelson.
About the role:
• Review and respond to applications
• Conduct screening and schedule interviews
• Respond to candidate questions
• Arrange pre-employment checks, drug tests, medical assessments
• Assist HR Manager with inductions and onboarding processes and other HR related administrative tasks.
• Start – Immediate. Based in Brightwater Nelson.
Skills and Attributes:
You bring experience in a recruitment or HR administration / coordination role, ideally with exposure to waged hiring.
You’re a down-to-earth team player who creates positive candidate experiences. You care about people, you care about doing things properly, and you’re passionate about finding the right people for the right role.
